the business of being born

I was waiting for Mon to finish his soccer training yesterday, when  a friend of his brought out the topic of giving birth. Apparently, Mon’s friend had recently watched a movie called “The business of being born”.  He found it very informative and would like to share the information with us.

The movie expressed the director’s interpretation on birth and how birth has become a business for doctors and hospitals. Whilst the best way to deliver a baby is by natural birth, most women were influenced/convinced that it’s too hard/difficult for them to do it. The movie also revealed the benefits of natural birth and the implications of  c-section operations and all those birth drugs offered to women during deliveries.

Well, as you are all aware, although Mon and I have been married for 7 years now, we have yet to be blessed with a child. Although the idea of getting pregnant was so cute and appealing, the thought of screaming and pushing a baby out from my vagina is a pretty scary thought. I have make it clear to Mon, that should I got pregnant, the only way the baby is coming out of me is by C-Section and that’s that!

No movie could ever change my determination to get drugged, and cut to get my child out. However, having said that, I have watched the trailer of that movie and it is true that it is a pretty interesting movie.

sakit beb… mmg giler sakit lah!! i mean natural birth la.. sbb aku x penah c-sect lg. huhuhu.. tp betul la cam ermayum ckp.. sakit bersalin natural birth cuma time tu jer.. beberapa jam lepas bersalin dah x sakit.. tp kalo c-sect masa operate tu x sakit.. lepas tu yg sakit nyer lama… berhari2 ke berminggu2..

tp yg peliknya.. walaupun dah tau sakit bersalin tu adalah amat2 sakit… lepas tu masih nak mengandung n bersalin lg.. hahahahha.. tp aku stakat ni blum boleh melupakan kesakitan itu… tunggu la beberapa tahun lagi bila aku dah lupa nanti baru aku mengandung balik… huhuhuhu

mengandung n bersalin n got to hold the baby in ur arms are indescribable feeling.. hanya ibu2 yang dah pernah merasainya boleh memahami.. moga ko pun akan rasa suatu hari nanti.. amin…
