..The journey…

The house was in a mess, 6 bags laid in the living room. Most of it not yet locked. I was still shopping for last minutes things. Relatives came with all kind of foods. Their children running and screaming. That was what it’s like on the day of my departures.

I am blessed that my close relatives and friends were there to see me off. I felt their blessings and prayers. I am blessed that Mon allowed me to do this at the very first place and willing to sacrifice things for me. I am also blessed that although I am millions miles away, I have loving friends who will look after my family for me.

I just felt blessed and loved.

It was a 22 hours flight altogether. But it was delayed for an hour due to some airways clearance issues. Mon was a bit quiet at first. I guessed he was just nervous and excited. I on the other hand was damn tired. All I wanted to do was sleep. BUT, I cant! The image of all those loving faces I left behind kept on flashing one by one. 

I was not sad to go. I was excited. I can actually felt the increase of adrenalin in my system. I am happy that my loved ones are also happy for me. I am happy that if at any point of time should I decide to not further embark on this journey, those people will always be there, waiting for me with open arms.

Don’t get me wrong. I am not turning back. 

The journey has just begun, and I am motivated by each step!!
