some updates on the Palestine issues

Since the Gaza invasion Wisma Putra have set up a secretariat to monitor the developments in Gaza.A fund was also established and up till now still receiving welcoming feedbacks from all over the country. The fund will officially be closed on 7th of february.

Everywhere people are talking about ways to assists the palestinians. AMAN PALESTINE is currently promoting an adoption program. The program will identify children / orphans from palestine that need financial assistance  (ain’t them all?), interested Malaysians needs to contribute about RM140 monthly for a child they would like to adopt. The thing is, the child will be raised and being educated in palestine itself. If the adoptive parents would like to see their adopted child, arrangements is to be made by AMAN PALESTINE.

I have one say on this. Albeit it is a good effort, sponsoring the children to remain on palestine soils is a bit ridiculous. How sure are we that Israel will not launch another attack, and the children will be safe? Furthermore, how sure are we that they will receive proper education? The best way for me is to bring the children here to Malaysia and let them experience a better life and education opportunities. But then it raise another set of questions, would they really want to be here? What are the social implications?

Seriously, for the time being it is important to channel all the resources to build back the health support system and to build back the public facilities. And I hope someone is wise enough to suggest for the palestine children to be exported out to other countries like Malaysia for example where they could receive proper education and so that they could become intellectuals that will be able to fight the zionist regime using their brains not stones and mortars..

Seriously…

I read in a past issue of Reader’s Digest (can’t remember which one) which has this programme in the US whereby a refugee receives full scholarship to study there but the agreement is that the student MUST go back to his home country and help his fellow countrymen with the knowledge he has gained in the university.

I think it’s a brilliant idea. Maybe Malaysia could adopt something similar.

Bring the Palesinians here. Give them education. Send them back.

The Israelis (or jews specifically) have an advantage in terms of education. Like it or not, they have brilliant minds.

Like you said. Muslims should fight them using our brains. Not using acts of terrorism or by throwing pathetic stones at their big tanks.

Yup Aizan,

those days where seeing and pitying them throwing stones against tanks are way over. And apart from israel, Hamas should be held responsible for the death of innocent women and children in Gaza.

They have fighting this war their way for ages, and gain nothing. Their territories are getting smaller, not bigger. Cant they used their head for once?
